Oral History Project Intern
Working directly with the Museum Educator, the oral history intern or volunteer will manage the reorganization and digitization of the Andover Historical Society Oral History Collection. This is an unpaid internship. Throughout the length of the internship, the selected candidate will inventory the collection, assist with transcription and editing, collect new oral histories, and continue the digitization process in place at the museum. With assistance from the Collections Committee and Museum Educator, the intern will prepare and execute a detailed plan to accession and store the oral history collection. The requirements for this position include experience in Oral History methodology and the ability to problem solve. Knowledge of PastPerfect preferred, but training can be provided. This individual is highly organized and computer savvy. The hours for this position are flexible.
