Today is Thursday, July 26 and here are five things you need to know today.
1. Board of Health: The Board of Health meets at 6 p.m. at the town offices, first floor conference room.
2. Vehicle Night: The library is holding Vehicle Night tonight at 6 p.m., featuring vehicles from the police, fire and public works. Bring the kids and take photos in and around all of the town's most expensive hardware.
3. Weather: Today will bring a 70 percent chance of showers with a high of 82 degrees. Tonight will bring 70 percent chance of thunderstorms with a low of 70 degrees.
4. School Statement About Colorado Tragedy: Andover Public Schools have released a statement about the shootings in Aurora, Colorado. Specifically, they are offering to help parents talk to their kids about the tragedy.
5. Library Closed Friday: Memorial Hall Library is undergoing some renovations currently and will be closed tomorrow, July 27, for elevator maintenance. It will be reopening Saturday, July 28.
