It is Friday, Nov. 18 and here are 5 things you need to know:
1. Photo - Today's featured photo is of Mark and Joanne Jawitz who hosted a reception for Zevi Kahanov, Israel Chief Emissary and JNF-Parsons Water Fund Director at their Andover home who gave a briefing on the severe water crisis in the Middle East. 2. Fiddler - Fiddler on the Roof is at Andover High. Make sure you check it out tonight or this weekend. For more suggestions of things to do this weekend, tune in at 10 a.m.
3. Food for the Needy - Please help Neighbors in Need put food on the table for the neediest families in Greater Lawrence by bringing a canned or other non-perishable item to the Bancroft School with you on Friday, November 18th.
4. Last call for recipes - Send in your family favorite holiday recipe by Monday to be part of our holiday recipe swap.
5. Weather - The rain will finally be on its way but it will remain cold with more seasonable temperatures in the upper 40's. The weekend is looking good though with sun and temperatures in the 60's.
