5 Things You Need to Know Today, Nov. 8

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

 

1. Weather: Morning commuters should drive with caution because roads may be slippery. There's a 90 percent chance of freezing rain all morning, which will turn into rain in the late morning to early afternoon. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday morning. The National Weather Service is reporting a high of 40 degrees today and a low of 32 degrees tonight.

2. High Plain Craft Fair: The High Plain Elementary School will be holding a Craft Fair today from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to the public. 

3. Election Results: If you haven't yet checked it out, you can find election results for the contested races on Andover Patch. Find Andover election results as well as state-wide results

4. Flu Clinic Today: The Andover Health Division is holding a flu clinic for those 18 years and older at the West Middle School from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

5. Gas Prices Continue to Drop: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices in Andover according to motortrend.com: the Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.59/gallon; Mobil 14 N. Main St., $3.60/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.61/gallon.
