5 Things You Need to Know Today, Oct. 18

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

 

1. Fire Department Open House: The Fire-Rescue Department will hold its annual open house on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

2. Crafternoon: Memorial Hall Library is inviting 6th through 12th graders for Crafternoon today at 3 p.m. Enjoy making a variety of crafts with other teens. 

3. Economic Development Council: The Economic Development Council meets this morning at 8 a.m. at the town offices, third floor conference room B.

4. Curbside Leaf Collection Begins: Curbside leaf collection begins this week (Oct. 15) and will continue through Nov. 30, with the exception of the week of Thanksgiving (11/19 – 11/24). Find more information on the town's website.

5. Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of 66 degrees. Tonight will bring a 30 percent chance of showers with a low of 52 degrees.
