1. Bancroft Breaks Ground Oct. 4: The Andover Public Schools announced that they will be celebrating the Bancroft Elementary School groundbreaking on Oct. 4. at Bancroft School.

2. Board of Health: The Board of Health meets today at 6 p.m. at the Andover Town Offices, first floor conference room.

3. Mosquito Spraying on Fields Today: The Northeast Massachusetts Mosquito Control District will be spraying Andover athletic fields today. Find more information in an article at 6 a.m. 

4. Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: the Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.89/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.92/gallon; Mobil 14 N. Main St., $3.95/gallon.

5. Weather: Today will be mostly sunny with a high of 75 degrees during the day. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 56 degrees.
