Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

 

1. Selectmen: The Board of Selectmen meet tonight at 7 p.m. at the town offices, third floor conference room A. Check out the agenda on the town's website or attached to this article.

2. Bald Hill Fall Hours: The Fall hours for the Bald Hill Compost Site are: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, 12 to 4 pm; Fridays and Saturdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. October 1st through December 1st.
Dumping permits are required, and are available from Plant & Facilities. More Information

3. Marine Band Oct. 4: The Andover Veterans’ Services Office is hosting a patriotic concert performed by “The Presidents Own” United States Marine Band at the Collins Center, Andover High School, on Sunday, October 14th at 3:00 p.m. More Information

4. Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: the Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.87/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.92/gallon; Mobil 14 N. Main St., $3.89/gallon.

5. Weather: Today will be clear with a high of 66 degrees during the day. Tonight will be mostly clear with a low of 44 degrees.
