1. School Admin Offices Closed: The Andover Public Schools administration office will be closed this morning from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in order for the staff to participate in the District Opening Convocation meetings. The offices will reopen after for normal business hours.
2. Zoning Board: The Zoning Board of Appeals meets tonight at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall Library, the hall.
3. School Begins This Week: Classes at Andover Public Schools begin on Thursday, Sept. 6.
4. Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: the Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.77/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.81/gallon; Mobil, 14 N. Main St. – $3.83/gallon.
5. Weather: Today will bring a 50 percent chance of rain with a high of 76 degrees during the day. Tonight will bring a 80 percent chance of rain with a low of 67 degrees.
