BREAKING: 4.6 Maine Earthquake Felt in Merrimack Valley
The U.S. Geological Survey is now reporting a 4.6 shake 3 miles west of Hollis Center, Maine.
Small tremors were felt in the Merrimack Valley area after a 4.6 magnitude Earthquake near 3 miles west of Hollis Center, Maine.
The quake was previously reported by the USGS as a 4.5 magnitude quake centered in Lake Arrowhead in Maine, 17 miles deep.
Many residents have reported feeling their houses shake ferociously for a few seconds. More information to come as it becomes available.

We're on Bellevue Road and certainly felt the tremors! Initially we couldn't imagine what it was....after checking out the weather, the house and yard for any explanation decided it had to be a greater, deeper systemic happening!
