Caller Reports Teens Jumping in Front of Cars

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Tuesday, March 5
At 7:53 p.m. a hit and run car accident was reported on Red Spring Road. A tractor trailer truck hit a car and fled the scene. An officer eventually caught up with the driver.
At 11:19 a.m. a walk-in visitor to the police station reported that her car was vandalized while parked in a lot on Colonial Drive.
Wednesday, March 6
At 7:39 a.m. a caller reported water rising from the sidewalk on Hunter Road. The water department was notified.
At 10:25 a.m. the manager at the North Main Street Dunkin' Donuts reported needles being dumped in the trash at the shop on a regular basis.
At 10:39 a.m. animal control reported a street sign that was knocked down on Mckenney Circle. The highway department was notified.
At 11:50 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash with no injuries on Elm Street.
At 11:56 a.m. a caller reported that his home had been broken into on Dascomb Road.
At 3:32 p.m. harassing text message were reported on Post Office Avenue. Advice was given.
At 7:56 p.m. a caller reported three to four teenagers jumping in front of cars on St. Augustine's Drive. An officer checked the area but did not locate any teenagers.
Thursday, March 7
At 6:37 a.m. State Police reported a minor motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Main Street at the intersection of Morton Street.
At 10:28 a.m. a caller reported a door that was stolen off a bobcat at Brickstone Square.
At 8:43 p.m. a caller requested an officer to look though a home that he believes was broken into on Ellsworth Road. The caller was house sitting for the owner while he was away.
