Coach Put on Administrative Leave over Alleged Hazing
Head boys basketball coach David Fazio was placed on administrative leave, according to WBZ.
The alleged hazing incident among the Andover boys basketball team continues to develop as the head coach was reported to have been placed on administrative leave.
WBZ reported that head boys basketball team David Fazio was placed on administrative leave today. No more details were given.
This comes after news of the two athletes involved in the alleged incident being expelled and five others kicked off the basketball team.
Allegations state that two Andover High basketball team members pushed two younger members of the team to eat a cookie with bodily fluid on it, according to area news reports. The alleged incident occurred at the Hoop Mountain basketball camp held at Stonehill College in Easton over July.
Easton Police said they were investigating the incident and Stonehill released a statement earlier this week saying the camp would no longer be allowed to use the school's facilities.

This is disgusting and I hope these two younger students put the full power of the courts against the school, atheletic department, the bullies and thier parents, the sports camp and the school superintendent.
Wedgies and being put on the water fountain were the height of "hazing" when I was in school. What has become of our schools? The "new and policitally correct" experiment doesn't work.
