CVS Reports Fleeing Shoplifter

The following information was supplied by the Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, Dec. 3

At 4:39 a.m. a caller reported a single car that crashed into a tree on Abbot Street. Injuries were reported.

At 7:31 a.m. a caller reported that her car was missing from her driveway in the morning. The caller was advised that her motor vehicle was repossessed.

At 8:15 a.m. police arrested Jegsy Sanchez, 23, of 7 Wyman St., Lawrence, on River Road. Sanchez was charged with operarting a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

At 3:30 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported that his car was keyed on Sunday.

At 5:12 p.m. police arrested Daniel M. Desruisseau, 25, of 25 Inwood Land, on Inwood Lane. Desruisseau was charged with two counts of assault and battery on a household member.

At 7:13 p.m. a two-car crash with no injuries was reported on North Main Street.

Tuesday, Dec. 4

At 12:17 a.m. a walk-in visitor reported a stolen wallet on Lowell Street.

At 11 a.m. a caller reported that her tires were slashed on Washington Park Drive around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

At 11:58 a.m. the CVS store manager reported a juvenile shoplifter. The caller informed police that the suspect ran out of the store onto Main Street. The suspect's friend identified him and police will mail the suspect a no tresspass order.

At 8:50 p.m. the manager of a North Main Street business reported finding a bullet on the premises of the business.
