Cyclist Not Injured in Motor Vehicle Accident

The police logs for Tuesday, April 26, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Tuesday, April 26

At 8:18 a.m. a caller reported a two-car crash on Route 125. No injuries were reported.

At 9:47 a.m. a caller reported possible illegal dumping at a neighbor’s house on River Road. 

At 12:34 p.m. police reported an accident involving a motor vehicle collision with a bicycle on Barnard Street. Police did not have details regarding the accident as of Wednesday morning, but said that the bicyclist was not injured and it is unclear whether the motorist will be cited for any traffic violations.

At 12:53 p.m. police arrested Jennifer R. Curley, 32, of 10 Indian Summer Lane, Methuen, on Main Street. Curley was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license.

At 5:39 p.m. police reported a large snapping turtle on Woburn Street that could be a hazard to traffic. The caller reported back that two people with shovels moved the turtle.

At 5:53 p.m. a caller reported that her motor vehicle was broken into while she was walking in Harold Parker Forest. An officer filed the incident.

At 7:25 p.m. a caller reported a syringe in the middle of the street on McKenney Circle. An officer found and safely discarded the syringe.
