‘Dance Party’ Reported at CVS Lot

The police log for Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13, contained one arrest and several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Saturday, March 12

  • At 2:12 a.m. an officer reported a TV that was left in the front of a building on Beacon Street.
  • At 4:45 a.m. police arrested Evelyn Rosa, 28, of 552 Washington St., Haverhill, on River Road. Rosa was charged with a marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of a special regulation and operating under the influence of liquor, third offense.
  • At 7:55 a.m. a caller on Algonquin Avenue reported that people keep breaking glass bottles at the base of her driveway. She said that this has happened on at least three separate occasions.
  • At 12:55 p.m. a caller on Dascomb Road reported that a black Labrador keeps jumping the fence out of its yard and is becoming a nuisance in the neighborhood. Police spoke to the owner, who said that the dog has been getting out due to a snow pile and that it will not happen again.
  • At 2:52 p.m. a caller on Wild Rose Drive reported that someone had broken in to his house. The resident reported being gone for only two hours. He returned home to find a laptop and other items missing. An officer spoke with neighbors and will file the incident.
  • At 11:06 p.m. an employee at CVS called about a “dance party” in the back parking lot on Main Street. An officer reports other CVS employees dancing in the parking lot. The incident was filed as a noise complaint.

Sunday, March 13

  • At 4:52 a.m. a caller reported that two males displaced a stop sign and threw it on the ground on Haverhill Street. An officer responded and could not locate either of the two males or the stop sign.
  • At 9:09 a.m. a call reported that a tree limb fell down and broke his storm window. An officer filed the incident.
  • At 4:01 p.m. a walk-in visitor reported she found a credit card on Main Street.
  • At 4:54 p.m. a caller reported three kids in Dundee Park writing graffiti on a wall at the Landmark Finish Building. The caller yelled at the three kids and they left in a minivan.
