Don't Have Power? Library Is Open and Welcoming Residents

The Andover Library currently has power and is a defacto shelter for those without power.

With roughly 75 percent of the town without power, it is a fortunate fact that Andover's Memorial Hall Library does. Library Director Beth Mazin said it is being used as a defacto shelter right now and is a haven for those without power.

Mazin said the library is available for all residents to charge cell phones, laptops and other electronics as well as to use the internet.

Library will stay open this week from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and is welcoming residents who need to use the libraries resources.

Town offices are closed today as well as many downtown shops. However, both the Gulf Gas Station on Main Street and Mobil Gas Station on Main Street are open. The Mobil on Route 133 is closed.
