Elementary School Bus Rear-Ended on River Road

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Monday, Oct. 1
At 6:48 a.m. an officer reported observing an accident on Interstate 93 soutbound near Exit 38 with no apparent injuries. State Police were notified.
At 7:32 a.m. a caller reported vandalism done to her home on Lovejoy Road sometime on Friday.
At 8:05 a.m. Trombly's Bus Company reported that one of their buses, bringing students to High Plain Elementary School was rear-ended on River Road at Fiske Street. An officer reports that no children or others involved were injured in the accident. Police say the accident is still under investigation.
At 11:34 a.m. a caller reported that a man came to test drive a motor vehicle that the caller was intending to sell on Odyssey Way and put 66 miles on the vehicle during the 40 minute test drive. The caller said that they think something suspicious happened during the test drive. An officer reports that the caller was just upset about the miles put on the vehicle.
At 4:13 p.m. a caller reports that his mailbox has been struck by trucks six times on Keystone Way.
Tuesday, Oct. 2
At 10:11 a.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.
At 3:24 p.m. a walk-in visitor to the police station reported credit card fraud on Blueberry Hill Road.
At 4:25 p.m. a caller reported two coyotes running the area of South Main Street. The caller was advised that this is not an emergency and that coyotes live in the area.
At 4:56 p.m. a caller reported a disabled box truck on the side of the road on Haverhill Street and it was leaking gas. The Fire Department checked it out and decided the truck was not a hazard.
At 7:18 p.m. a caller reported that someone stole political signs off his lawn on Salem Street.
