Female Reports She Was Trapped in Car and Beaten

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Monday, Nov. 5
At 3:35 a.m. a distraught female caller contacted Andover Police but abandoned the call. Police traced the call to the Mobil Station on River Road. An employee there confirmed a distraught female was dropped off there. An officer reports the woman was beaten and bloody. She claimed that she had been driving with someone from Boston who wouldn't let her out of the car and hit her. They finally let her off at the Mobil Station and fled. The female was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.
At 11:46 a.m. stolen property was reported on Wiliams Street.
At 1:23 p.m. multiple individuals reported that their motor vehicles were broken into at the High School parking lot by someone wearing a black mask.
At 8:11 p.m. kids throwing pumpkins at cars were reported on High Street.
Tuesday, Nov. 6
At 2:51 a.m. an officer reports finding graffiti written with chalk on the back of the high school.
At 11:23 a.m. a town employee reported an Andover Police plaque stolen from Spring Grove Cemetery.
At 2:40 p.m. police arrested Jonathan Anderson, 22, of 40 Wild Rose Drive, on Route 125. Anderson was charged with failure to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and reckless operation of amotor vehicle.
At 5:21 p.m. a two-car accident was reported on Central Street. No injuries were reported.
Wednesday, Nov. 7
At 7:47 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious male in camouflage with a shotgun off Cross Street. An officer reports the man had a bow and was hunting.
At 10:07 a.m. vandalism was reported on Jenkins Road.
At 1:19 p.m. police arrested David M Morin, 32, of 41 Balmoral St., on Main Street. Morin was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to wear a seat belt.
At 2:47 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run on North Main Street. There was only minor damage involved.
At 10:20 p.m. a motor vehicle accident was reported on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
