Five Things, Jan. 2: Book Club

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

 

1. Parking Ban No Longer in Effect: The Winter Parking Ban is no longer in effect. All street-side parking is now allowed.  

2. New Year's Trash & Recycling: Regular collection will occur on Monday, December 31st. No collections will occur on Tuesday, January 1st. The remainder of the each week will be delayed one day, Wednesday through Saturday. Questions may be addressed to the DPW at dpw@andoverma.gov or 978-623-8350.

3. Non-Fiction Book Club: This week the library's non-fiction book club is dicussing "Sibling Effect: What the Bonds Among Brothers and Sisters Reveal about Us" tonight at 7:30 p.m. 

4. Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: the Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.38/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.34/gallon; Mobil 14 N. Main St., $3.59/gallon.

5. Weather: Today will be cloudy with a high of 32 degrees. Tonight will bring more clouds with a low of 25 degrees. Winds will vary from 7 to 13 miles per hour.
