1. COFFEEHOUSE FEATURING BOB FRANKE

Where/When: March 26, 7:30 p.m. Ballard Vale United Church, 23 Clark Road, Andover

Why Go: Relax with a cup of coffee and listen to singer-songwriter Bob Franke.

2. SPRUCE UP FOR SPRING

Where/When: March 24, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Soiree Andover, 13 Main St., Andover

Why Go: Enjoy an evening with the girls at Soiree on Thursday, March 24 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friends of Soiree will give tips on sprucing up for spring. Get motivated to clean out, shape up, get organized, look better than ever and celebrate the warmer months ahead. There will be great tips from the experts. Bring a friend

3. FREE BAKING DEMO

Where/When: March 24, noon, Andover Country Club, 60 Canterbury St., Andover

Why Go: America’s oldest flour company, King Arthur Flour, will share tricks and tips for easy home baking, from decadent cinnamon rolls to festive pies, at free local baking demonstrations, including one in Andover. Baking demonstrations include perfect pies and tarts at noon, and sweet yeast bread at 7 p.m.

4. AN EVENING OF ART AND WINE

Where/When: March 25, 6-8 p.m. North Parish Church, 190 Academy Rd., North Andover

Why Go: Local artists will have their art on display and for sale, and there will be wine tasting, appetizers and desserts.

Pricing: $20 at the door.

 

5. FOODIE FRIDAYS

Where/When: Friday, March 25, 5-6 p.m. Whole Foods, 40 Railroad St., Andover

Why Go: Start your weekend off with free food sampling. Whole Foods will be hosting storewide sampling in all departments.
