1. CHECK OUT WWI RELICS

Where/When: Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Andover Historical Society.

Why Go: The Andover Historical Society is featuring local World War II stories through the display of old relics from the war.

2. ANIMAL RIGHTS DAY

Where/When: Saturday, April 7, 8:30 a.m., Massachusetts School of Law.

Why Go: A full slate of topical animal issues presented by animal rights experts, combined with animal tricks and demonstrations, will highlight the Massachusetts School of Law’s (MSL) Sixth Annual Animal Rights Day on Saturday, April 7, 2012, starting at 8:30 a.m.  The event is free and open to the public. This was provided by the Massachusetts School of Law.

3. CIVIL WAR: UNFOLDING DIALOGUES

Where/When: Saturday, April 7, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Addison Gallery of American Art

Why Go: There's only a week left to see this exhibit before it closes! Featuring historical and contemporary Civil War paintings, prints, photographs, and video drawn from the Addison's collection, this exhibition explores different points of view regarding this ongoing and evolving narrative. This was provided by the Addison Gallery of American Art.

4. MUSIC AT ANDOLINI'S

When and Where: Saturday, April 7, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Andolini's

Why Go: AJ Edwards plays for free at Andolini's tonight.

When and Where: Friday, April 6, 9 p.m., Palmers.

Why Go: The Guy Ford Band plays for free at Palmers tonight.
