Here are five things you need to know today, April 23.

 

Flood Watch:  The National Weather Service has declared a flood watch due to the rain from Sunday into Monday morning. Commuters should be aware that flooding may cause road blocks.

School Committee: The School Committee meets this morning at 7:30 a.m. at the school administration building, school committee meeting room.

Taylor Cove Update: Developers and neighbors are awaiting a decision from the Department of Environmental Protection in regards to the Taylor Cove condo project on River Street, as work is being done at the site. This article goes up at 6 a.m.

Weather: Today will bring a 90 percent chance of rain with a high temperature of 62 degrees in Andover, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will bring a 20 percent chance of showers with a low temperature of 46 degrees.

Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.85/gallon; Sunoco, 205 North Main St.– $3.89/gallon; Mobil, 14 North Main Street - $3.95/gallon.
