Gas Prices: The third cheapest station in Andover, Lukoil on Route 125, is going up today. Here are some of the lowest and most current unleaded gas prices in Andover according to autos.msn.com: Gulf, 65 Main Street – $3.09/gallon. Sunoco 205 North Main Street – $3.15/gallon. Lukoil, Route 125 and Salem Street - $3.22/gallon.

Weather: Can you see the snow outside? Yah, that’s going to end up adding 10 inches on top of your summer barbeque grill, which is currently reaching the size of a phone booth. The National Weather Service says that snow and sleet will fall in the Andover area throughout the morning and snow will follow 10 a.m. to noon. Snow and sleet should return in the afternoon. Temperatures should reach a high of 27 degrees and drop to a low of around 13 degrees at night. Chance of snow 70 percent Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Fun Fact: On this day in 1848, the Mexican-American War ended with the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. This gave the US portions of land that include California, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada and parts of Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.
