Andover National dropped the first game of the District 14 finals series but won two games in a row to take home the title.

Last night at Deyermond Field, Andover National capped off the series by beating American 14-10 in a rollercoaster ride of a ballgame.

National fell down 1-0 in the first but scored six runs to go up 6-1 in the second.

American jumped right back into the game in the bottom of the second when EJ Perry hit a grand slam to tie the game at six.

In the third inning, Danny Walsh of National hit a three run bomb that put National out in front 10-6.

With a 10-7 lead going into the sixth, National tacked on four more runs to put things out of reach. Andrew Selima knocked a three run bomb to make it 14-7.

Andover American tried its hand at a miracle comeback by scoring three runs in the bottom of the sixth but came up just short.

Andover National advances into the sectionals, and they will take the field next on Wednesday in Tewksbury at 5:30 p.m.
