iPad Stolen at Online Publication's Office

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Wednesday, June 27

At 1:42 a.m. police arrested Patrick J Mcavoy, 37, of 11 Amherst Road, on Amherst Road. Mcavoy was charged with assault and battery on a household member and resisting arrest.

At 8:50 a.m. a caller reported vandalism to an area of Brookside Drive.

At 2:36 p.m. IRS security on Lowell Street reported to police that a damaged vehicle had pulled into their lot. Police responded and dealt with the situation.

At 6:06 p.m. a caller reported that a coyote walked through his yard on Lincoln Circle East. Area animal control officers have advised residents in the past to just stay away from the animal in order to maintain safety.

Thursday, June 28

At 10:22 a.m. a theft was reported at Helium in Brickstone Square. An employee reported that an iPad was stolen.

At 12:21 p.m. a caller reported that she dropper her car keys down a sewer drain on Barnard Street. The Water Department responded to assist.

At 4:16 p.m. a caller reported a two-car accident with no injuries on Chestnut Street.

At 5:43 p.m.  an employee from the YMCA on Haverhill Street reported that a child’s bicycle was stolen at the day camp there.
