CALLING ALL DREAMERS!
The Memorial Hall Library Children’s Room invites you to join us for a summer of fun! This summer, we will explore the themes of dreams, space, and creatures of the night as part of the statewide summer reading program Dream Big---Read!
Summer reading is a great way to keep up your child’s reading skills while having fun at the same time. All children from birth to age 11 can participate in the reading program. Kids can register in person at the library or register online at www.mhl.org/kids beginning Monday, June 11. Once registered, children will be able to keep track of the minutes they read and earn chances to win prizes.
Dream Big---Read! participants may also take part in a variety of programs such as Preschool Storytime, Family Book Bingo, Galactic readers, and many more---all free of charge! Families can attend programs by guest performers throughout the summer, including a magic show by Scott Jameson, and a return of the Star Wars Symposium. For information on these fun programs, or to register, visit the library’s event calendar at www.mhl.org/eventcalendar. For a printable monthly calendar visit the Children’s Room, or go online to www.mhl.org/kids/programs.htm. For more information, call the Children’s Room at 978-623-8401, x39, visit www.mhl.org/kids, or stop by Summer Reading Central in the Children’s Room beginning Monday, June 11.
