No New Developments in Double Homicide

Police are still asking for help from the public.

Police are continuing to release little information on the investigation into the in Andover in mid-December.

Authorities are still claiming to have no suspects the chilling incident that left local developer John Magee and his wife Geraldine dead. The couple's daughter found them shot in a room on the first floor of their sprawling mansion in south Andover.

Police say that investigators are releasing little about the case.

"They are keeping this close to the vest," said Police Lt. John Pathiakis. 

Those close to the investigation have reported that there was no forced entry into the house and the scene was cleaned up by whomever committed the vicious act.

The couple's black Lexus was also found burnt on Prince Street in the North End of Boston the night before the bodies were discovered.

John "Jack" Magee owned an Arlington-based development company and built housing around Boston and the Greater Boston area, including the Andover development he and his wife lived in, Orchard Crossing.

Asking for Help

Police have called out to the public for information that may be helpful to police in solving the double murder.

Pathiakis said that police are asking anybody to come forward that may have seen something suspicious during the time the murder was thought to have occurred. However, police have still not gave a estimation on when they thought the couple was shot.
