Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle on Andover Street

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Thursday, Jan. 24
At 7:14 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street with no injuries.
At 2:34 p.m. a caller reported a pedestrian that was struck by a motor vehicle on Andover Street. A police lieutenant, three sergeants and three patrolmen responded to the incident. The initial report indicates three motor vehicles were involved in some way. In response to a request for more details, the Andover Police shift commander on duty said he could not provide any further information about this incident at this time. An update should be available on Monday, Jan. 28.
At 2:50 p.m. a caller reported identity fraud on Bailey Road.
At 4:11 p.m. a caller reported that a hit and run occurred in a parking lot on Burton Farm Drive.
At 5:57 p.m. a minor two-car crash with no injuries was reported on Haverhill Street.
Friday, Jan. 25
At 6:47 p.m. a taxi driver reported a hit and run on Post Office Avenue. The driver said that an car backed into another parked car and then fled the scene. An officer saw no damage to the parked car, however.
At 9:01 p.m. a two-car accident with no injuries was reported on River Road. One of the operators did not have car insurance.
At 9:42 p.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle that was parked at the entrance of Washington Park Drive and was obstructing all traffic from being able to enter. The motor vehicle left before an officer arrived.
At 10:38 p.m. an officer reported that the canister on top of a North Street telephone pole was glowing.
