Andover and State Police located a missing child Tuesday afternoon after an hour-long search began in the area of the West Elementary School on Beacon Street.

Police began searching for the child around 1 p.m. today after school officials discovered the child was missing.

Police say they found him on the Andover Country Club golf course and that, apparently, the child had just "gone on a walk."

Police do not currently have any more information on the circumstances of the boy's flight from the school.
