Downtown Andover is bustling this holiday season and, if you haven't already stopped in, you'll want to be sure to visit Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs. Tasteful and trendy shoppers in and around Andover will be thrilled with the high quality fashions that range from casual to dressy.
Relatively new to town, Lyn Evans opened its doors on September 1st and has received rave reviews and a steady growth in clientele ever since. Black Friday was a success as the store experienced a good deal of foot traffic.
The Andover location is one of 7 stores throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut and currently the only store on the Northshore. Andover residents have been particularly excited and responsive to the shop's new presence in town. Faithful patrons of former shops in Marblehead and Danvers are now migrating their business to the beautifully laid out Andover locale as well.
Shoppers are invited into an eye catching show room that is full of beautiful clothes for every occasion.
In addition to their own Lyn Evans brand, the store features items from well known designers such as LongChamp Paris, Nicole Miller, Jaipur and Christopher Blue, just to name a few. The clothes in the store are arranged in a well organized manner that encourages the consumer to create great ensembles that are ideal whether for the office, everyday wear or evenings out.
"We merchandise everything by color and outfit," says Andover Store Manager, Debbie Hirsh. "We help put outfits together for customers, but customers are also able to do it themselves by seeing everything that goes together in the same area. We are all about outfitting more than one outfit for all of your needs and lifestyles."
Jennifer Killilea, of North Andover recently stopped into the store for some sophisticated pieces appropriate for the holidays or work.
"I popped into Lyn Evans looking for something different for the holidays and some basic tops that offered versatility...and what a great selection!" Jennifer said. "The staff was very helpful giving honest feedback on what looked good and what didn't and I ended up buying four tops that I love. I love the material and they will look great under a suit for work or just with jeans and heels. I also snagged a cute winter hat that is stylish and warm."
Founded by Lyn Evans Shotkus, Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs has been serving their customer for 32 years. In addition to making women's apparel a top priority, the team at Lyn Evans is also highly committed helping the community and giving back through charitable fundraisers, fashion shows and various other events that reach out to the towns they are serving.
Further adding to the stores appeal, Lyn Evans offers after hours shopping parties accommodating 10 to 20 friends, family or colleagues. Partygoers are given the opportunity to browse the space privately with sales associates on hand to offer helpful suggestions and gather individual options that are personally and perfectly stylized.
Wine and refreshments are served allowing the ladies a fun, comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience. Parties are scheduled most Thursday evenings and are currently booked through January.
