Resident Chases Out Suspected Thief on Chandler Road

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Saturday, Feb. 2
At 8:33 a.m. a caller reported a water leak in the area of Rock Hill Road.

At 11:17 a.m. a walk-in visitor reported a theft from his locker at a gym on Main Street. The man said someone broke into his locker.
At 1:28 p.m. a caller reported missing mail on Pomeroy Road.

At 3:29 p.m. police arrested Jacqueline R. Meuse, 30, 8 North Shore Drive, Sandown, N.H., on River Road. Meuse was charged with possession of a class A substance, subsequent offense.
At 4:58 p.m. a caller reported that he chased a blue Camero out of his driveway on Chandler Road. He believes the occupants were attempting to break into his home.
Thursday, Jan. 31
At 2:27 a.m. an officer reported tire tracks on the grass at a Shawsheen Road school. He will follow up to see if the tracks were made maliciously.
At 7:34 a.m. a three-car accident was reported on South Main Street.
At 11:13 a.m. the animal control officer reported a street sign on York Street was blown down.
At 3:23 p.m. police arrested Kyle J. Destefano, 23, 37 Freeman St., Apt. 3, Haverhill on Interstate 93. Destefano was charged with a revoked registration, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, an uninsured motor vehicle and an uninspected motor vehicle.
At 4:54 p.m. a caller reported that someone hit his car and then fled the scene on Union Street.
