After much anticipation it appears that Salvatore's Restaurant will be opening sometime in the coming months at the former Rugged Bear location on Park Street.

Work crews have begun interior construction and the restaurant has announced that they will be opening this fall.

Having already gone through much of the town permitting process, Salvatore's representative Chuck Barbato went before the Board of Health this week to obtain a variance.

The Andover location will be the fifth Salvatore's Restaurant to open in the Boston area. Salvatore's operates establishments in Boston's Theatre District, Boston's Waterfront, Medford Square and Lawrence.
