Scammers Steal Money from Lowell Street Resident

The following information was supplied by the Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Monday, May 7

At 7:10 a.m. a two-car accident with injuries was reported on North Street.

At 7:39 a.m. a security employee on Dasocmb Road reported that four storm drain covers were stolen over the weekend.

At 6:57 p.m. a caller reported a dryer fire on Arundel Street. The Fire Department reported that it was a problem with the dryer and there was no fire.

At 9:04 p.m. a caller reported that his father, on Lowell Street, was scammed by two men who were in his house that day. The two men made away with some of the father's money.

Tuesday, May 8

At 1:46 a.m. police arrested Glen G. Mottram, 40, of 600 Brookside Drive, Apt. M, on Brookside Drive. Mottram was charged with assault, assault and battery on a household member, resisting arrest and threat to commit a crime.

At 2:19 a.m. a two-car crash with no injuries was reported on Osgood Street.

At 7:59 a.m. a caller reported that several items were missing from his house on Central Street and believes someone stole them over the past couple of days.

At 2:04 p.m. police arrested Jonothan W. Delisle, 31, of 14 Franzone Drive, Bradford, on Pipers Glen. Delisle was charged with the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a revoked registration and an uninsured motor vehicle or trailer.
