This week's Andover Patch Athlete of the Week is Andover High senior basketball captain Natalie Gomez-Martinez.
The McDonald's High School All-American nominee has led the way for the powerhouse Lady Warriors in her senior season. In a win over previously unbeaten Barrington, she notched a double-double with 20 points and 11 steals. Last season she reached 1,000 points for her career in the title game win.
Throughout her career, Gomez-Martinez has strived to improve herself and her game while motivating her teammates around her.
