What Is with the Construction at West Middle School?
As part of the annual Capital Improvement Plan, West Middle School is the first school of seven school master plans to address the failing pavement, sidewalks, lighting, parking, bus and accessibility issues.
In addition, the town is redesigning the traffic flow to improve safety for the students. Doherty Middle School is slated for the summer of 2013 when construction on the new Youth Center begins, and Andover High School is third on the list. The plans are available through the Office of Plant and Facilities, Andover Town Offices.

It's great that the schools in Andover are finally getting the improvements that they need. I'm an Andover roofing contractor (www.olympicroofing.com/andover-ma-roofing), and we were recently invited to bid on the Doherty Middle School construction work next Summer. It will be a fantastic project, I'm hopeful that they choose Olympic!
