Where is the new AVIS reservation in Andover?

The new AVIS Reservation in Andover is located on Oriole Drive and those involved with preserving it are celebrating a grand opening this coming Saturday.

Gladys and Tony Sakowich donated nine acres of beautiful Andover woodlands and the Andover Village Improvement Society is inviting the public to come and celebrate the opening of the new AVIS park: the Sakowich Reservation.

The event starts at the gates of the West Parish Cemetery with a pre-hike at 1:15 p.m. (3/4 of a mile) to 26 Oriole Street. Attendees can expect light refreshments and hiking on new trails.

The new reservation is near Baker's Meadow.
