10-Year History of Andover Real Estate Market Is Out

Prudential Howe & Doherty Realtors have updated this report to encompass 2012. The report shows that the peak in sales occured in 2003 at 368 homes sold compared with sales of 293 in 2012.  However sales have increased 19% since the low of 247 sales in 2008.

The median price for a single family home peaked in 2005 at $597K however since 2005 prices have depreciated 14% and leveled off at $514K in 2012 from $515K in 2011. 

The most active time of the year for listing a home occurs between March and June while most closings occur between March and August.  We call this the "Spring Market".  If you price your home properly it will sell quicker at a higher price. Go to the website below to download the report.
