My name’s Barney. I am young and handsome, with my silky white fur, orange head and tail, makes me unique and fun to gaze at.

They believe I have Maine Coon and Turkish Van in me, a rare breed. I do seem to look and fit the Van traits, because I am intelligent, want to be with people wherever they go and like to play, jump, fetch and explore. Some call us "dogs in a cat suit."

I did not get enough love in my past so there is nothing I like more than to be loved on. I will talk to you, asking for attention. I am a big fluffy cat which makes me a good cuddle buddy and will purr up a storm if you scratch under my neck. I do like to run and play with other cats, but will be fine as a single cat. There’s nothing I love more than to sit in my window seat and watch the birds. I am okay with dogs as long as they don’t play with me. Because I am not high energy, I make a good hang out cat. If you rescue me, you will be rescuing another because I will gladly give up my spot to make my own with you.
