More good news for the housing market! If you've spoken with any real estate agents this year I'm sure you've heard tales about a recovering housing market. I'm seeing it here in the Andover and North Andover real estate markets. 

But don't take my word for it. A recent report by RISMEdia notes that homeowners across the country are regaining lost home equity because of rising home values.

According to RISMedia, "homeowner equity jumped $406 billion, or 5.9 percent, to $7,275 billion in the second quarter of 2012." 

On a personal note, I recently listed a home for sale which received 12 offers within 36 hours!  We ultimately accepted an offer $48,000 above the asking price.
