Results from a recent executive survey ranked Massachusetts 47th for business.
A CEO magazine ranks Massachusetts as one of the worst states in the nation for business. Chief Executive Magazine ranked Massachusetts 47th based on a survey of corporate leaders. Survey respondents reported the Bay State is one of the worst for taxation and regulation. The state Republican Party is pointing to the survey and saying that Gov. Deval Patrick and the Democratic-led Legislature are bad for the economy and business. What do you think about Massachusetts’ business climate? Is this a good state in which to do business?

The Rolling Green golf course on Route 133 in Andover offers a challenging course at a low price making the area great for both beginners and the experienced. And manager Bernie Melanson says the course is now open, despite plans for a housing development on the land. The Rolling Green, owned by Andover Country Club owners, boasts 9 holes, mostly par 3s, in West Andover only seconds off Interstate 93. North Reading Tyson Vasipoli was playing on the course Saturday afternoon and said that the course is his go-to spot. "I don't always play golf but, when I do, I choose Rolling Green," said Vasipoli. Employees at the Philips' Andover location recently helped assemble kits that will assist with premature babies.

Andover, MA – As part of a commitment to support the developmental needs of premature infants, Philips and the March of Dimes are working together to support families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through volunteer events in five cities across the country, including Andover, Monroeville, Atlanta, Stamford, CT, and San Jose.
