The Amos Blanchard House, at 97 Main St., is more than just the home of the Andover Historical Society. Built in 1819 shortly before the Industrial Revolution, the Federal style home to the Blanchard family and subsequent owners represents a colorful and capsulated view of Andover history. The house is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Deacon Amos Blanchard, according to AHS sources was born in Wilton, NH in 1773.
