 ete who has overcome many difficulties in life and prevailed through det
 ermination and hard work. &nbsp\;He won three New England Golden Gloves 
 titles as an amateur before turning pro in 1985 and started off 14-0 in 
 his professional career. &nbsp\;Micky captured both the WBU Intercontent
 ial Light Welterweight title and the WBU Light Weighterweight title. &nb
 sp\;He also won the respect and admiration of many fans worldwide\, insp
 iring songs\, books\, and the Academy Award winning-film "The Fighter."\
