Andover West Middle School is proud to present Disney’s Aladdin as their school musical for 2013. Following on the heels of last year’s smash sellout Footloose, and 2011’s 13 the Musical, WMS Drama is expected to wow audiences once again. Director Charles Gracy, also of ACT Andover, has taken the reigns of the West Middle Drama Club this year and musical Director Emily Lapointe will once again be conducting the score.

Drama at West Middle is a very active  and popular student club, and this year is no exception. Aladdin features a cast of over 70 young performers. In a departure from previous shows, and due to the interest among so many talented students, this year’s Aladdin has 2 casts, to give a chance to twice as many kids to play lead roles.

Cast A, performing Friday February 1^st at 7PM and the Saturday Matinee February 2nd at 2PM features Ryan Cadigan as Aladdin, Ariana Turner is Jasmine, Ryan Doyle is the Genie, Adam Weber is Jafar, TJ Jayasinghe as the Sultan, Molly Pine is Iago and Brady Hale as Razoul. Cast A Narrators are Madison Fugere, Charlotte Lowell, Annie McGovern, Kyra Morissette and Grace Nowak.

Cast B, who will perform on Saturday February 2^nd at 7PM and again on Sunday February 3^rd  at 2PM features Peter Heckendorn as Aladdin, Catherine Cox is Jasmine, Max Currie is the Genie, Zach Rivard is Jafar, Steven Kennefick as the Sultan, Fallon Buonopane is Iago and Kevin Hern as Razoul. Cast B Narrators are Gillian Cowe, Alyssa Grieco, Megan  Hartnett, Eileen O'Farrell and Julianne Teichert.

The show will performed at the Andover West Middle School Auditorium on Shawsheen Road in Andover, tickets are $10 and are available at the door one hour before show time. It is recommended to get there early as these shows often sellout.
