Return this month to the Senior Center and join Leslie Baskin, Reference Librarian, as she shares the history and secrets of Andover's Memorial Hall Library. Leslie will share how the Library was founded and stories about the unique collection it preserves and shares with the community like items from the Spanish American War. More About Andover Senior Center
The Andover Senior Center is located on Bartlet St. in the same complex as the Andover Town Offices and the Andover School Department. It offers a wide variety of services to senior citizens, from educational programs to regular game clubs and yoga classes to entertainment acts. The senior center offers counseling services, as well as meals on wheels for aging and elderly residents living in and around Andover.
The programming staff also invites experts to visit the center and talk about the latest issues affecting the elderly. The Andover Senior Center has won multple awards for its services, including the United Nations Award Excellence in Aging Program, Governor's Rose Award, the MCOA Veronica B. Smith Award, and the Cable award for "Our Immigrant Heritage."
