ps\, and businesses from the Andover community including Andover Fire Re
scue\, Andover Sister Towns Association\, Century Bank\, and Memorial Ha
ll Library.\nA wide array of historical artifacts will be on display inc
luding a Fire Bucket\, a Plan of 1692\, an Andover High School Varsity L
etter\, a Mustache Cup\, and even a Hair Wreath.&nbsp\; All of these pie
ces are currently on display as part of the Top 40 exhibit.&nbsp\; The t

gh Saturday from 10am-4pm.&nbsp\; Admission is $8 per person and $5 for
members\, seniors\, and children ages 4-18.&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;The Hair Wrea
th is a must-see piece in the exhibit that has been the inspiration for
one of the trees in the event. &nbsp\;The Wreath is made of real human h
air made by Nancy Sherman and Betsey May Ellis in 1860\, using the hair
 of 125 relatives\, friends\, handmaids and even the family horse.&nbsp\;
Historical Society President Doug Mitchell has decorated a tree inspire
d by this unique piece.\nFord&rsquo\;s Coffee Shop Menu is a part of Top
40 Exhibit. &nbsp\;The shop was a friendly and inviting hangout for peo
ple going to work and students getting out of school. It was located on
14 Main Street in Andover. The menu was signed by owner Tom Koravos who
ran the shop with his wife Stella. The coffee shop was in business from
1954-1994. The Andover Community Coffee Group (usually found at the Town
House on Saturday mornings) has decorated the 'Java Jive' tree inspired
by the menu.\nAn Andover High School Varsity Letter dating from 1950 to
1959 is another inspiration piece. &nbsp\;At a time when high school on
ly lasted 3 years\, varsity student-athletes would receive their letters
during their&nbsp\;year on a team. &nbsp\;This varsity letter is recogn
ition for the ones who had proven that they were a veteran and valued me
mber of the team. The recipients of this letter earned it through hard w
ork and dedication.&nbsp\; Memorial Hall Library and SHED's Kid's Club w
ill each decorate a tree inspired by the blue and gold varsity letter.\n
Visit the Andover Historical Society this December and join the thousan
ds that have enjoyed this festive holiday tradition in past years.
