WAKEFIELD MUSIC VIOLIN AND VIOLA RECITALS TO FEATURE LOCAL PERFORMERS
Free performance at Unitarian Universalist Church
WAKEFIELD, MASS.—Wakefield Music is proud to announce violin and viola students will be performing for the 9th Annual Spring Recital at the Unitarian Universalist Church (526 Main St., Wakefield) on Thursday, May 24.
Local students will perform music from Handel, Vivaldi, Schubert, other classical composers along with folk tunes and contemporary pieces. This free performance is open to the public.
“The students have worked hard this semester and I am proud of each of them,” said Dr. Caroline Lieber, owner and head teacher, Wakefield Music. “We look forward to sharing our love of music with friends, families, and neighbors.”
Local Wakefield Music students include those who attend Wakefield’s Galvin, Dolbeare and Walton schools. Students also attend Pike Academy and Andover School of Montessori. Wakefield Music teaches children and adults and regularly conducts recitals around Wakefield. Local pianist Mike Salvatore will be accompanying the students on piano. The recital will begin at 6:30 p.m. Audience members and performers are invited to bring a donation item for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. This promises to be a fun event
for performers and audience members.
