Andover Health Division Schedules Free Flu Vaccination Clinics
The Andover Health Division has announced its flu clinic dates for residents to receive their annual flu vaccine. The vaccination is free of charge, although providing insurance information will allow the health department to bill the insurance company.
· Thursday, November 7, 2013 between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, at West Middle School. This clinic will be for residents 18 years of age and older.
· Monday, November 18, 2013, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, at the Senior Center. This clinic will be for residents 2 years of age and older.
The traditional flu shot and the nasal spray (FluMist) will be available at the clinics. There will also be a limited amount of High-Dose vaccine for persons 65 years of age and older, and a limited amount of quadrivalent flu vaccine. The FluMist is indicated for medically eligible persons between the ages of 2 and 49.
