STEM Summer Classes for Middle Schoolers

Students entering grades seven, eight and nine in fall 2014 who are interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) can feed their curiosity this summer with courses in robotics, architecture, biology/psychology, engineering, and forensics at Pingree School in South Hamilton.

Robotics, Architecture, What Makes Us Tick, Intro to Engineering, and CSI Pingree: Forensics are some of the classes offered as part of No Kids Allowed, a program developed for curious middle schoolers. Classes will run for three weeks, Mondays through Fridays, from July 7-25. Morning classes are from 10 a.m. to noon; afternoon classes run from 1 to 3 p.m. Students can opt to take morning and/or afternoon classes. Lunch is available as are early drop-off and late-stay options. 

The cost is $350 for one class or $650 for a morning and afternoon class. There is also a one-week session of different classes from July 28 to August 1. Pingree School is located at 537 Highland Street, South Hamilton.
