What Caused Monday Morning's Power Outage?

More than 400 customers lost power.

Hundreds of National Grid customers in Andover were without electricity in the early morning hours Monday.

The cause? A fallen tree, according to National Grid spokesman Jake Navarro.

"The tree came down on a wire on Washington Park Drive," Navarro said.

In all, 427 customers lost power. But power was restored to everyone before dawn, Navarro said.
