Jay Leno Wants to Know: Would You Like Fries With That?

If you happened to be craving a burger and fries this weekend, you may have noticed this celebrity serving them with a smile.

On Saturday morning, patrons at the McDonald's on North Main Street were greeted with quite a surprise.

It turns out Andover native Jay Leno stopped by to work.

"He was fantastic, he was really happy to be here," Carissa Haley, franchise owner said. "He toured the store worked a couple positions, he took a couple orders on drive-through."

The reaction of patrons as they realized who was serving him?

"Hilarious, shocked," Haley said.

This wasn't a random stop. The CBS Show 60 Minutes was filming a segment about Leno, and Leno's first job was at that McDonald's in the 1960s.

"He was having fun," Haley said. "He was laughing, he was telling jokes."
