5 Things You Need to Know Today, Nov. 26

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

1. Sewer-Smoke Testing: The Town of Andover will be conducting sewer line testing using colored smoke in the area of Merrimack College the week of November 26th. Check out the town website for more information as well as an area Map

2. Leaf Collection, Composting Ends This Week: The Town of Andover's curbside leaf collection ends on Nov. 30 and the Bald Hill Composting site closes on Dec. 1

3. Holiday Ball at the Town House: The Crystal Ballroom "Holiday Ball" at the Town House will be held on Saturday, December 15th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. The fee $25 per couple, $15 for singles. Music will be provided by D.B.’s Orchestra, with dance instruction at 6:00 pm by Tom Webster of Dance New England. Black Tie optional! 4. Gas Prices: Here are some of the lowest unleaded gas prices according to motortrend.com: the 65 Main Street – $3.55/gallon; Sunoco, 220 North Main St., $3.56/gallon; Mobil 14 N. Main St., $3.59/gallon.

5. Weather: Today will be sunny with a high temperature of 46 degrees. Tonight will be clear with a low of 26 degrees.
